We’re just a bunch of story tellers!

We’re just a bunch of ordinary people, living ordinary lives, scattered all over the globe but with one thing in common: Burundi is tattooed on our hearts. We tell stories of love, hope, sadness, irritation, happiness and confusion; stories of what life in Burundi, or as a Burundian, are really about. We don’t do it for money, we do it for the fun; but also to break the biased views that Burundi is just about poverty, war and illiteracy. Our goal is to bring our unique and different stories together to show the World another face of Burundi. A face of life, hope, courage, humour, innovation… a face of willingness to make it, despite the challenges that we face on a daily basis, in and out of Burundi. And by “the World” we also mean fellow Burundians who are often cheated by the media into believing that there is nothing good that can come out of here.

  1. I just found your fan page on Facebook few hours ago and I was curious by the articles. Today, I don’t have any story to tell but as a burundian I always feel concerned by my country. I left Bujumbura when I was young and no matter where I go or where I live, my heart belongs to this country. As I can see, this blog is new but I hope it will touch everyone. So on that note, Congratulation and keep up the work!
    Sincerely yours.
